Lou Reed (born 10 September 1987) is a Welsh rugby union footballer. He currently plays as a lock for the Scarlets in the RaboDirect Pro12.
Reed signed for the Scarlets on a professional development contract in March 2006,[1] but only made five appearances in the 2006–07 season. In order to gain some experience of first-team rugby, Reed was loaned to Rotherham for a month in December 2007.[2]
In June 2011 he was named the Wales national rugby union team 45 man training squad for the 2011 Rugby World Cup.[3]
